§ The Falcons were established in 1967, culminating in an organization with over 50 years of experience teaching the fundamentals of football, cheer and the values of good sportsmanship while also focusing on safety.
§ The Falcon's legacy has been to prepare our players to compete and exceed as members of their High School Football and Cheer teams.
§ The 2017 Hunterdon Central Varsity and Junior Varsity Cheer Teams, both ranked 1st in the Nation, included outstanding Flemington Falcon athletes such as Kait Bothe, Taylor Brandt, Dani Livornese, Corrine Mills, Kristina Natale, Manny Reed and Rylee Scheurer, Jayna Custy, Rachel Fisch, Ava Floyd, Lauren Foerster, Gabi Tamayo and Olivis Vitale… among many others who learned the spirit and sport of Cheer in the Falcon's program.
§ The Falcons are part of Pop Warner, a non-profit organization that provides youth football and cheer & dance programs for participants in 42 states and several countries around the world. Our season does not end in October. Several Falcon teams have competed in regional, state and national post-season tournaments and Pop Warner National “Super Bowl” games annually.
§ Pop Warner is the only youth football program (local, regional and national) that sets and enforces a strict age & weight matrix that reduces the risk and reality of injuries. The Falcons remain proactive on all medical issues that affect football and cheerleading, with a primary focus on prevention and proper identification and treatment of concussions, hydration awareness, proper nutrition guidelines, and general health and safety issues.
§ The Falcons and other member organizations from our conference (Central Jersey Pop Warner) have seen football and cheer teams go to Disney World in Orlando, Florida to compete for the Pop Warner National Championships each year. The Falcons have sent multiple cheer teams to the Pop Warner Nationals several years in a row and have consistently brought back multiple 1st and 2nd place trophies! Falcon teams compete against the best in the nation!
§ Everyone plays in our games. Pop Warner rules require that all players play in each game. No one "rides the bench."
§ Pop Warner National Little Scholars, Inc. is the only national youth sports organization in America that requires its participants to perform adequately in the classroom before permitting them to play. The participants in the Pop Warner program are unique as opposed to those of other programs. While they are taught about the values of competition, they are also maintaining their grades at a satisfactory level in order to attain the ultimate prize of being named a Pop Warner National Champion. Each year, the most academically accomplished Pop Warner kids compete for Academic All-American status. This process begins at the association level and up through each of the eight Pop Warner regions to the national level. The Falcons encourages and recognizes the academic achievements of our football and cheer team members, and we are proud to say that we continue to have several Little Scholars Gold and Silver Medal winners every year!
§ Come be a part of the tradition of "Falcons Cheer."
§ Producing athletes and scholars for over 50 years!
